Very friendly man at reception and very helpful.
Excellent facilities. Surprisingly quiet for town location. May be very different in school holidays as is a family park and we were out of season.

Fantastic location, special site by the river/sea/40 min walk to Pinnacles.
Toilet remarkably clean. Only NZD6 each. Would always recommend DOC sites if want location, peace and quiet.

We visited in low season so was quiet and choice of pitches.

Generally a very good camper for the price, inside has a recent refit.
Couple of equipment issues are a pain. Reception on picking up vehicle was not the warm welcome expected from Jucy image.
