Nice little park, stayed one night well priced.
Powered sites and cabins. Ammenities are a bit rough but clean. Coin operated shower and washing machine. Lovely staff very helpful. This is only a small park so bookings are essential. We enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here on the 6 March 2020 after catching the ferry from Wellington.
Great campground with lots of space, shady trees or open sunny spots. Reasonable price for powered site. Free 5 gig wifi, really lovely friendly host. Toilets are clean and very well maintained. Didn’t use the kitchen as I have my own so didn’t check that out. We really enjoyed this campground will be staying here again for sure.

Great price, $20 for powered site for 2 of us.
Great bathroom, clean kitchen. Lovely setting. Had a great night here. Friendly caretaker and made some lovely new friends.

Wellington TOP 10 Holiday Park

Not normally a big fan of Top 10 holiday parks as they tend to squeeze campers in with little room to breath.
but this one was a gem, large grassy site was a bonus. Bathroom was clean and tidy, rain head showers.
Great staff. Close to the ferry only took us 15 minutes.
A bit pricey but there are not a lot of options around Wellington.

Bushlands Holiday Park

Amazing campground, rustic in a beautiful bush setting, the owners are just wonderful, Jo took care of us and made sure we were well catered for.
Take the walk along a bush track to the box canyon where you will meet wild horses and goats and the amazing walls of the canyon absolutely gorgeous.
Showers are free and unlimited, awesome grounds with plenty of space along the amazing forgotten world HWY. only open during summer as it gets a bit wet in winter. We will be back next summer.

Stayed for one night and absolutely loved this place, the noise from the trains and trucks didn’t bother us, Toilets were clean, woke up early to the most amazing sunrise and beautiful calm sea.
Checked in late the lady at the office was just so lovely and helpful.
