Good free place for a self contained camper.
Reasonable toilets and dump point nearby too. The actual free camping area was a bit small (and full) for our 6 berth RV so we set up in the adjacent car park with some other bigger RVs. Not sure if this was allowed but no one said anything. Penguins nearby were a hit with the kids. Good playground but a bit of a walk to get there. Bit of noise from the port but didn’t worry us.

We had an unpowered site with ocean views on both sides and it was great.
Was very windy, the sheltered sites would be better if the bothers you but you lose the view. The site itself was a bit precarious perched next to a small cliff and on a slope but we survived! The kids had a great time exploring the beaches and looking for the penguins. The nearby facilities were ok but not great. The nicer ones were a bit further away. The nearby cafe was very nice too.

Reasonably priced and decent clean facilities.
No view and was a bit boggy from rain with puddles in a lot of places. Great little pub down the road on the beachfront and playground for the kids just out the front of the grounds.

Great for the price.
Facilities were clean and serviceable. Site was level. Playground was quite small but still kept the kids amused enough.

Nice place, clean facilities and good playground for the kids.
Great views. Steep walking trail down to the town. Sites not very level though and weird showers that had so much pressure they almost hurt. The kids were not tall enough to reach the tap either as they were just below the nozzle. Otherwise pretty good.
