We stayed in November on the first night of our campervan trip around the South Island.
We had a lake view pitch. The view was through trees but being on the edge of the campsite it was more private than other pitches.
The facilities block was fine and the showers hot.
The walk into town alongside the lake was easy walking and very scenic.

Excellent campsite with very friendly owners.
We had a sea view from our pitch and it was only a couple of minutes walk down to the beach where we were able to have a swim. It was also only a short walk to an excellent restaurant. A lovely peaceful campsite.
The showers and toilets were very clean with lots of hot water. Didn’t use any of the other facilities so can’t comment on them.

Nice quiet site with clean facilities.
Fish and chip shop and pub nearby making it an excellent stopping off point when visiting the Otago peninsula.

Beautiful scenic location with lots of walks from the campsite.
Very variable weather - sleet and then a lovely sunny eve. Wrap up warm.
Toilets were ok.
