Stayed in unpowered site directly overlooking the water.
Great location, great facilities although the kitchen can be a bit small for so many campers. It has washer and dryer for $2 each. Showers that worked great and had a timer. They even have a tennis court and they can lend you the rackets if you need them. Amazing stay.

Great location, amazing super clean showers (50 cents 3 minutes) and bathrooms, nice big kitchen and dining area with free bbqs.
We were in a tent and sites are big and flat. Would def come back.
Hi Sandra, thank you for commenting, so glad there was plenty of room for your tent! Yes we have large sites as we have about 30 hectares of land here at the head of the Kaiteriteri beach inlet. Hope to see you again one day.

A bit overpriced for the dated facilities but enough for 1 night stay.
Everything was clean, the kitchen was stocked with basics, pots and pans. WiFi is included in the price, although not very powerful. Would stay here again.

Showers are free, they just have a timer on them like in many other camping sites.
Great experience, would go back right away. The owner was lovely and the camping is in a great location. We woke up yo views of the lake and the mountains. The place could do with an upgrade but it has a lot of personality and everything you need: spacious kitchen with pots and pans, bathrooms in good condition, laundry room (paying), and even a games room. There is a pub next to it as well.

Beautiful campsite with a creek and multiple tramping routes that start from it.
Very basic but shower is great and electric bbqs work perfectly. Bathrooms so so. We paid 5pp for unpowered if I remember correctly. No WiFi but there is free Wi-Fi in town centre. Would def stay here again

Too close to the road, we could hear trucks going up and down all night
Our location is no secret Sandra, it doesnt change when you come down the drive. Most people love the campground for what we offer.

Best camp we stayed on.
$30 for 2 people in an unpowered site. Nice common facilities with clean bathrooms and showers without timer. Kitchen had some pots and pans we could use. They are right next to the beach and have tons of activities to do. We were camping in a tent and the site was flat and leveled. Staff was super nice and helpful as well. Shame we could only stay 1 day!

Owner was super friendly and had a lot of advice for the surrounding area.
You can also buy tickets for different attractions with a discount on site. Shower have no timer and we're nice and clean. Bathrooms are a bit on the small side, but we're clean. Kitchen facilities also on the small side but everything was clean. There were a couple of bbqs free for all as well. There is a living room area with TV and a couple of couches. Intenet is free and with a good speed. There is also a swimming pool and a hot tub. The Rotorua lake lake is 3 minutes away. And it doesn't smeel like sulfur in this area! Great place to stay
