Tongariro Alpine Crossing: Very knid and friendly staff and guide.
We paid a guide to take a route different from the main track to avoid the crowd. The guide did, but only because we asked for it.

On a clear day it is amazing to walk at and around the volcanoes.
You walk in old craters, can look down a crater and on there you feel like you are at the top of the world.
