I recommend this walk, although you do have a choice at the start, will you choose the high road or the low road..

I went for the high, I figured that I would get any climbing out of the way first, I found the first half of the loop on the up and up track challenging and had to stop a few times. But beautiful, I was thinking all the time about those poor settlers who tried to farm that land and live there.

The second half on the way back was beyond magical, I didn’t see a soul the entire time, the track follows the river along and it pretty much flat with so much to see and hear.

If you are a beginner I would suggesting taking the low track there and back, that would be super doable.
