Nice campsite, close to lake, in forest.

$30 ($15 per adult) a little pricy for just drop toilets and campsite but its the cheapest one close to Te Anau (20min drive).

Unpowered and powered campsites in Te Anau are around $50 (for two people) however they are very domestic and dont have the “camp in the wild feeling” that this one has.

We stayed here and drove to Milford Sound the next day. If are doing the same as us and you have the time, drive to the campsites further up. Looks like it would be more beautiful staying up there.
