Loads of spots available, we arrived at 12 at night and still plenty spaces.
The local boy racers had just finished their meet up at new world so decided to show us how cool they are by revving and doing their best vin diesel impressions. Did bother us for long to be fair to them. In the morning people come around to try recruit you for kiwi jobs so if you need a job stay here lol

Was closed for winter in october...
Still stayed just outside the gate in the car parky area, as did 6 others. Was a long journey to the toilets, which are not nice. Just a hole from the toilets into a big container, so you can just see and smell everything, not ideal.
Theres also a chicken “twiggy” who resides there and is very charming to begin with but then turns into a savage and won’t leave you alone. He also just loves to scream at about 5 in the morning just to everyones joy. Twiggy was lucky to live, not sure he’ll have the same luck next time he annoys a tired camper, good luck Twiggy. Think he annoyed me more than the toilet.

Interesting is the word i’d describe if i was being nice.
Its just a campsite full of permanent residents with a few spots for visiting campervans. Within 10 minutes of being there a naked man covered only in a hand towel and his stomach hair decided to take a dander through the campsite and past our van to the shower block, it really set the tone. The two kitchens were good but the real selling point is that for $12.50 pp you too can spend the night on ocean avenue. You get what you pay for.

In the middle of renovations so take that into consideration when reading older reviews.

Campsite is fairly off the beaten track, have to go quite a few miles on dirt tracks to get there and there is no cell reception once you get there.
Toilets weren’t in good shape and only a cold shower available. However worth it if you want to see the glow worms for free (would recommend, were ace), just make sure to bring a torch and go all the way into the cave to see them best

Location was ideal, takes 15 mins or so to walk into the centre of town.
Nice environment to be in, lovely park with good views. However the toilets shut at night around 8 we think. Various camper spots over the park 🤙🏽

Stayed in October, $36 for two in a non power campervan.
Facilities were amazing, best showers we’ve seen at a campsite. Lots of cooking utensils and such to use as well. Site was on concrete as well so no muddy shoes. Staff were very nice too, all in all highly recommend

Facilities wise it’s not great, no hot water or hot showers. $30 for two in a non powered.

Nice quiet set of carparks, spots in the both of them.
A Park right next to you and fields all around. Two sets of toilets, one was locked at night the other wasn't! Even managed to get a dominos delivered 🤙🏽

Beautiful beach, room for quite a lot of campers (easily 10).
However there was a storm the night we stayed and so the toilets being a 2 minute walk away wasn't ideal haha

Space for four maybe five campers.
Nice beach location and close to warehouse and a bar and such. Toilet was a 5/10 minute walk on the beach however (which had a cold shower too).

Great location, right on the beach and a nice bar only 10 min walk away.
Bring your torch to get to the toilet at night its a 4 minute walk and has no light in it. Worst thing about this place was as we dozed off a massive siren started going off. Presuming, in our sleep deprived state, that a tsunami was coming to kill us all we sped off into the night up to te puke to escape. So we never actually slept here. (Turns out it wasn’t a tsunami but they use the same siren to call volunteers to the fire station, how stupid is that?! Anyway at least you all know now unlike us idiots) 👍🏼

In very high demand took us three separate days to get a spot here.
However really was worth it, such a nice area with local shops and cafes nearby as well as the amazing beach. Toilets were very nice however shut at 8 or so. Has a cold shower too.

Huge kitchen with great facilities but remember to take your own lighter or match to light the hobs with.
Campground was very clean and was nice and peaceful with the stream nearby. Good location, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Kerikeri. Had a pingpong table and tv as well which was ace. $36 for two on a non-powered site i think it was

$40 for a non powered van for two people to park next to a wall on a dirt track.
Not ideal, showers were hot but the shower block was like a freezer. Kitchen fine. Literally only good for staying near auckland.
