This is the BEST spot.
Our favourite spot on the north island. Camping right on the beach. Amazing bay with clear skies, great swimming. All in all the best freedom camping ever. There were 3 of ya total but so spread out we didn’t see anyone!

In a car park right on the water.
Pretty busy spot but lots of space. Great first spot outside of Auckland! Nice walk around the harbour. Great first night in our camper waking up and cooking right by the water.
