The facilities, toilets and recycle rubbish bins are excellent.
The area is grassy and you can park a camper easily. The reason for low score was the site was average- I think we were spoilt by mountains and lakes. A algi filled river was not calling us to jump in. The locals were hooning and had loud music till after 9pm. When they stopped it was actually a very peaceful night sleep. Only stayed here as is 30min to Christchurch. Skip if you can or use as a stop if your wanting to save $ before you fly out.

Great location.
Easy access to walks. Fantastic flushable toilets. Drinking water available. A large indoor sheltered area with seats. Plenty of bins for mixed and recycle. Cute rabbits hoping around. Awesome view of glacier as we eat from our camper van. We experienced four seasons in one day, rain, sleet, snow and then sunshine! Layer up:-)

Beautiful views.
5 star toilets with toilet paper and sanitizer ( down one end only).
Rabbits running around. We just sat and rested, watching the amazing views. However beware. Cyclonic winds at night caused 1/2 campers to move away from trees and find more sheltered area in middle of night. Otherwise stunning and great.

You need to pay to stay.
However it’s 20min from Queenstown and perfect place to stop with the camper and do daytrips. They have toilets and running water to wash hands. The lake and views of mountains very beautiful. They have some seating by a lot of sites. It was lovely and quiet and very handy.

This was our favorite site.
The road up was long but spectacular. We saw lambs galour, baby calves just born and the trip to the site was amazing. The site has drop toilets, no water. It has one undercover seating area.
The river running past so beautiful. The walk was closed to the glacier but when opened again will be amazing. There are other walks as alternatives. We were there in October. Check as they close the road soon after due to lambing season being in full swing.
