Apart from the many sandflies that you have in any campsite around Milford this was an excellent place to stay.
Great, great views, not so crowded as the other sites and 2 fireplaces.

Very friendly and helpful.
The stress free insurance is almost a must due to roadworks and gravel roads it is almost impossible to avoid chips. The Jucy condo is great and comes with free stays at family holiday parks.
Hey Maite
I was stoked to read that you enjoyed your time in your JUCY Ride & enjoyed the free camping at Family Parks throughout NZ!
Wishing you safe travels for all your future adventures.
Cheers

The company is good and so are the guides.
For a quick feeling of how it feels like to be on a glacier, the Fox Trot half day hike is good, but you don't get much time on the ice and most of it is spent by everyone taking photos.

Admittedly it was raining when we were there but even if it had been sunny it was not a nice place to stay.
It was plain dull despite the sea and just one big gravel plain.

Great facilities here, very friendly staff.
It isn't very big but the open lay out made it feel spacious and clean. Covered BBQ area, so even in the rain great place for BBQing.

Grade 3/4 (weather dependent) rafting down Buller river.
Great fun, good for people with no previous experience. The optional cliff dive was amazing!

It is not very big and you don't need much time but seeing coloured fish swim in between corals (living ones) is a unique experience.
The actual underwater tank is only a 15 metre circumference walk.
