One of the great drives of NZ.
Do not be in a hurry. Only a short distance is gravel but trip through thr gorge is outstanding, and the tunnel!

Lovely site overlooking river with plenty of grass and gravel.
Facilities some what limited as are level power sites. However at $15.00 for one, good value. Will be back.

A good site but considering the attitude of management I will not return.
