Great location, only $8 p.p.
No potable water, sheltered area, no envelopes to pay and veeeeery smelly long drop loos.

We were going to stay in Omihi but it look like a ghost town so we moved up to Goose bay.
We arrived at 7p.m. so the office was closed. We texted the phone number and they gave us the toilets code, we paid 18 NZ pp on the next morning. Great value for money, toilets and showers were really clean, same with cooking facilities. There's a laundry room as well.

Nice holiday park close to the lake.
Friendly staff/owner and clean facilities however my boyfriend thought the men's bathroom was a bit dirty and didn't have any soap to wash his hands.
$17pp unpowered.

We paid 17pp for an unpowered site.
Big campsite and clean facilities. Only 6 mins of hot water but it was enough. Beach just a 5 min walk across the road!
It is a family campsite so expect loads of kids running around and in the hot pool. There are also many seasonal workers living there but they tend to be allocated far from the travellers and we didn't have any issue, it is a safe site.
Friendly staff.

We stayed in a powered site for 2 nights, quite pricey for what it has to offer.
The kitchen doesn't have utensils to cook with, just a cooker.
Weird people staying in the lodges but that's not the park's fault.
With what they charge they could do so much more!!
