Nice walk.
Would recommend. Like others said it might a bit slippery during the winter. The nature is so beautiful and the birds are differently. Does not go up hill too much. I had back problems and the walk wasn't a problem.

Beautiful spot, no street noises, easy to find and Waihi or Waihi Beach are very close.
Sunset and sunrise are stunning. Come early. Has big and clean toilets, showers and trash bins. Great area. Many vans camped outside of marked area (at least on the grass). Would always go back. Stayed there 3 nights

Nice cozy place.
Next to the street but it's well hidden with trees so it does not bother you. Went there with a campervan and saw maybe 3 others as well. Lots of space. Toilets clean but no soap and of course no shower.
