I had the luxury of flying into Siberia, hiking up to Lake crucible then walking out for about two hours to get picked up by Wilkin River Jets.
What a ride! The driver Danielle (I think) was wicked, so in control and floored it down the river. Great commentary along the way. I felt safe, and this was by far the fastest boat ride I have ever been on. Super impressed, the new boat was awesome.

Great guides, super positive happy characters that delivered and awesome sea kayaking experience.
Loved the striped outfits, the yellowness of everything else. Was stoked to see wildlife and the beautiful scenery. Would recommend as an absolute must do in Milford!

Wicked!
A cruisy trip, lots of bridges to cross (don't go too fast as i blew up my tire), amazing views and some good chats with people along the way. Would recommend to anyone - if you get tired you can just push your bike to the nearest town and easily find somewhere to eat and sleep.

I can only discus the mountain biking section.....I can't actually believe that this track isn't finished yet, as it's already awesome!
The track started with a 13km uphill which sounds drastic, but it's gradual and you can talk to your mates the whole way. Once you are at the top (where the walking track comes in) it is downhill all the way. The track is well graded and the whole thing is ridable - there is about 2km where it gets a little dodgy where off road motor bikes have come in and tracked it out a bit, but this was a part of the unfinished section of the track, so it will be all good soon enough. Take your time as there are lots of places you can stop off and see where settlers have tried to tame the land. There are now only a few chimneys left and a few hunters bivveys. There is an amazing section past a place called "Battle Ships" steep drop offs into the gorge below. It's quite a crazy experience going fast through the bush, then you turn the final corner and you are on a big bridge. The ride took a group of 9 fairly experienced riders about 51/2 hours totally taking our time. We organised a shuttle to pick us up with thier jet boat.

I rode the track with a few friends last February, and what an amazing experience!
Wicked views and pretty quiet. I felt a bit sorry for the walkers as having people on bikes coming up from behind must be a bit scary. Using the waster taxis to bring our packs around each night was definitely the way to go - primo having a well earned beer at the end of the day. The track itself was excellent, well groomed and almost all rideable. a few steep narrow parts meant walking, however I guess this would depend on your skill level as some people rode past me on single speeds....
