Stayed in winter.
No issue with ranger. Site a bit of a slope. Beautiful view. DOC toilet 50m away on railway track.

Pro: big kitchen, great view, fantastic shower though bathroom draughty.
Con: overpriced ($50 for 2 powered site in winter), no utensils or pots/pans, no microwave. Kettle was faulty. Dont bother with Bluff town in winter as practically every shop was closed.

Kitchen facilities good, shower good. Friendly owner. Very lovely position overlooking the bay. Short drive to lighthouse to see seals and penguins. I love Moeraki.

Good big warm kitchen and dining area, well equipped, close to town, showers ok, clean and friendly host.
Dog friendly too. We had a powered site.
