Stayed here as a stop off on way to west coast.
Arrived to a really quiet empty site but a lovely owner met us and showed us around. Really helpful. Local pub a short walk away, warm showers although power not great. Perfect for stop over.

Lovely top 10 site.
Just off the main road so can be a (little) noisy. Large pitches with nice hedges/trees between so feels neat and private. Facilities were great, heated toilet block with good hot showers. WiFi was good although limited. Very helpful staff. Great hot tub!!

Lovely little place with large hostel type accommodation/unit.
Small area for parking powered vehicles, near the grass. Facilities were very good. Comfortable lounge area with log burner, tv and loads of movies. Showers were great. WiFi very good. Relaxing, family-like feel. Resident dog was the best bit- Max! Staff were great and helpful for booking trips. $38 for 2 people.

Really loved this site.
Nestled in the rainforest but could be a bit crowded if full. Lovely shower block with large showers hot and powerful. WiFi was good. Best bit was a little restaurant on site. Large open fire and relaxed alpine vibe. Highly recommend. Short walk to the hot pools and lots of bookings possibly. Very helpful staff

Absolute gem!
Highly recommend. Beautiful views and we had a clear day. Sunrise over mount cook is stunning. Lovely walk around the lake. Tucked away between the pines. A couple other campers here but felt very private.

Great location!
Short walk to town and off the main roads. Quite cosy and tucked in close to each other but as expected with this sort of location. Very helpful staff. Had to pay for WiFi but facilities were good. Nice hot showers and laundry facilities. Recommend for Queenstown!

Large holiday park but almost had it to ourselves in off season.
We just made check in at 9pm! Staff were awesome and friendly. Lots of info of nearby walks etc. About an hour walk to cathedral cove along coast path. Beautiful long beach on the doorstep and a hot tub that can be rented overlooking the beach. A sunset must! Clean facilities, 6 min showers but adequate $42 for 2 people per night. Good WiFi and laundry
Thanks for your review - we appreciate your feedback. We are very glad you enjoyed the campsite and the many nearby activities that Hahei has to offer. Sunsets along the beach are always a great delight when staying at our resort. Our staff are always happy to help in any way we can and hopefully we get to see you again some time.

Absolutely beautiful find on the bank of the estuary/beach.
Clean toilet and picnic benches to use. Long way down the road from the town but nice and quiet

Quite busy so luckily we got the last spot to face out to the water. Very clean toilets for freedom! best yet!! Highly recommend

Not the best top 10 but they are renovating facilities so were limited.
Not much character and facilities were adequate but not great. Not for the price - I assume this is why they are doing it up! Staff very helpful and bus stop just up the road to get to town. A short walk to a nice pub. Hot tub was good although outside looked like a dodgy shed! Don’t judge a book...

Great little spot but very popular all year around.
Probably the busiest place we’ve stayed in the last month! Lovely views over the lake, walks along the lakeside but only one toilet. Probably best to use your own if possible! Recommend

Lovely scenic little site on the beach.
Quite exposed so was windy when we were there. 2 or 3 long drops and some running water but not drinking. We paid $26 for 2 people

Pretty sure this is the only campground in Milford.
But nice site under the mountains. Tucked away between the trees with rainforest feel. Nice pitches and great facilities. Large shower/toilet/sink rooms. Nice large kitchen/lounge area to relax in. Staff very helpful!

We ended up staying here for 3 nights.
Perfect location on quiet private beach and our pitch was literally on the beach! Lovely staff, very clean and comfortable facilities. A walk along the coast path to Paihia town (an hour) but scenic walk. Went kayaking from the site, highly recommend. A little piece of paradise

Great little find.
Very helpful staff and nice large pitches. WiFi was good although had to pay $5 for more than 250mb. Facilities were good, $1 for shower for 5 mins. Nice large hot shower. Radio also is great! $30 for 2 people so very reasonable. Booked a cycle tour and they picked us up from the site and dropped us off again (explore Marlborough) highly recommend both!!

As expected with top 10 - facilities are amazing.
Great showers and toilet block. Not much atmosphere but great for a stop off to explore Wellington/get to ferry port. Limited WiFi but worked well. Bus from the site to town is really helpful! Staff were great

Much the same as other reviews, this is a little strange if super quiet as campground is about 400m from reception.
Staff were brilliant and helpful though. Booked our trip into the NP and we kept our van parked at the office for the day. WiFi was good. Facilities were good too. Open shower/toilet block so a bit cold but showers were powerful and hot so can’t complain. Laundry facilities were good and kitchen. Beautiful clear sky and quiet night with wildlife. Big pitches with some hedging between spots. Recommend!
