Amazing spot on the top of a hill with stunning pastoral views over the plains.
Would be pretty exposed in anything more than a breeze as there is no shelter (hence the views!)
Limited flat areas for campervans. Single toilet (newish and clean), potable water tank on site, one picnic table.
You are not “in” the bush. The bush reserve is in a gully beside the campsite. Unfortunately, it’s not typical native bush as it’s seriously affected by invasive smothering vines. But we experienced friendly Fantails and delightful Bellbirds, despite seeing no evidence of pest control.
In clear weather, you should get spectacular sunsets and sunrises, and a brilliant night sky.
Different, but pleasant spot for fine weather camping.
