Lovely little campsite- such a quiet and relaxing spot.
Really thoughtfully put together, and friendly. Kitchen is amazingly well equipped. Good spot between Christchurch and Kaikoura.

Stayed here one night, didn’t try to use the showers although there were two basic but clean toilets open all night and a water fountain suitable for filling bottles.
They are quite hot on the restrictions- we hadn’t realised that we were supposed to park within the blue lines and got a note on our windscreen in the morning (hopefully have avoided a fine). It is just a car park, but then it’s great to be able to legally stay in the town centre for free and use the surrounding amenities.

Amazing views if you are willing to brave the hairpin bends to get up there.
Limited space and a very stinky toilet! Right by the road, but wasn’t disturbed by it in the night.

Pretty busy, but plenty of room.
Right by the sea and lots of friendly Weka to keep you company! One drop toilet.

Great campsite with amazing views of the lake.
Stayed on a powered site with our camper. Facilities are very clean and modern- nice toilets and showers, kitchen areas and laundry. Only issue was with WiFi which is a bit intermittent. Would highly recommend this place.
