Great Place.
Lots of space between two crystal clear creeks. With the toilets it might depend on what day you arrive. It appears that on a Sunday afternoon the toilets may have been serviced for a couple of days because of the weekend. We arrived on the Sunday afternoon and some of the toilets were not in a good state. Maybe they get only cleaned on working days in which case you will find them in good order. Apart from that we had a great time.

This is one of the best freedom camping places I've seen right next to a pebble creek.
All the credits go to the staff managing and maintaining the facilities. Flush and clean toilets and wash-up area. Excellent automatic heated BBQ. Waste management well organised (like in a professional campsite). Only drawback no potable water. With a gold coin or two you can show your appreciation. Go and enjoy... 👍

We were attracted to this place because of high ratings of Last Light Lodge.
Yes it's a nice place with very hospitable staff, but that alone may not warrant a 8, 9 or even 10 stars. We gave it 7 out of 10 and that is not a bad score, because 'you can't just provide the "pro' s" without the "con's". A couple of positives are already above. Here are some more. The food from the home grow produces in the cafe is original and good. We also were lucky to be entertainment by local musicians while dining. No the flip side of the coin... The bathroom is shared between male and female and I noticed a mum wating for her teenage daughter. She felt uncomfortable as a guy had a shave in the same room. Mmmm not so good. The shower required $2 but then you have to figure out hou to get through it in 3 minutes. My expectation is when paying for a serviced side you don't want the stress to rush trough the most relaxing activity namely your daily shower. Some reviews praised the good prices for the service at the cafe and the camp fees. I found then reasonable but not a bargain. The common facilities are OK but an update on appliances (heaters) wouldn't do any harm for good house keeping. Overall I can enjoyed our 2 night stay and can recommen it.

Well it is a top facilitated holiday stay.
We had a powered camper place and had access to a great kitchen, lounge with TV, comfortable furniture and well heated. Showers and laundry tops. But hey the price was tops too we paid for 2 people closed to $100. You should expect the WiFi to be tops too but after you checked a couple of emails you 250Mb free data is gone and you have to buy expensive upgrades. Come on.... For that kinda money taking into account for the cost of the mobile home I can get a much more comfortable B&B which usually includes unlimited WiFi. I find the place too expensive and with the limitations on the WiFi I feel a top rating is not justified.
