Not sure why there aren’t reviews here, the lot was almost full but we got a great spot at 6 pm.
Thank you local council! Drive to end of Beach Rd. Clean portable toilets. Close to beach, lovely views of wetlands & farmland.

Gorgeous view, quiet, right on beach.
Great to sleep and wake up to sounds of waves and gulls. Toilet a short walk away. Would have been a few more spots but a mega van with boat took up 3 (parked sideways).

Peaceful, beautiful spot right on the beach.
Clean toilets and covered picnic area. Busy but not packed when we pulled in at 6 pm, great to sleep & wake
up to the waves.

Not pretty but convenient location; we snagged a spot early and walked & biked rest of the day.
Toilets nearby. Lot brightly lit and some city partying noise but only campers parked at night.

Fantastic beach & view, amazing to wake up & walk there.
Got the last spot at 7pm.
A few vans parked on grass outside of designated area and were nailed by Coromandel ranger in the morning.

Very generous of the museum to allow parking and the WiFi was great.
Nice view of hills and super clean toilets across the road. Museum worth a visit! Would give a higher rank but lot is very brightly lit and truck traffic heavy.

Excellent aquatic center and toilet/water/dump station nearby. Packed; got a spot at 3pm only b/c someone was leaving.

Gorgeous spot right on the lake!
Peaceful and special. Very large area but lots of vans, started filling up in the evening. One clean drop toilet.
Great location to get to hikes in the morning.
