Sea Kayaking.
Really enthusiastic and pleasant guide. Just right, even for people with no kayaking experience.

Lovely rainforest setting.
Not enough toilets/showers for all the campervans staying overnight.

Camper was mechanically OK but company customer service was terrible.
We left Christchurch with no LPG tank and van was poorly prepared (not clean). We had been told to expect VIP treatment following difficulties with Apollo is Australia.

Quirky!
Lots of rather sad looking Morris Minor cars in various states of disrepair in the grounds. Very helpful and somewhat eccentric owner.

Interesting 'rustic' campground.
Toilets and showers were almost unusable but we really enjoyed the flax enclosed camp sites.
