A brilliant trip, one of my favourite things in New Zealand.
we went on the 8.30 trip and at first when you are having your safety briefing there seems to be a lot of people, but don't worry. They pop you on a bus after you get your wet suit and have had your briefing and then when you get to the harbour you get split up on to smaller boats. We were on a boat of 14 swimmers, the other boats were barely near us when we were with the dolphins, so you didn't notice them. We swam in a pod of about 300 dolphins and at one point the whole pod seemed to swim past us, many only inches away from me! Amazing trip and really well done

We spent 2 days mountain biking the track.
Its beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially as its so easy to do it with fab hotels on the way and luggage transfers. It is not a track for mountain biker beginners at all as its quite technical in places. But you don't have to be a pro at all, both I and my husband really loved it

Brilliant trip.
I did 2 introductory dives and they were superb. My instructor for the day was truly excellent, patient, willing to let me do things in my own time and didn't push when I was uncomfortable. This was a great introduction to diving for me and I would heartily recommend to anyone wanting to do it. My husband did a refresher dive and he was very impressed with the operation, there was him, one guide and another diver in a small group. We both felt that the instructors were the right mix of responsible and yet still could have a laugh. The soups and hot chocolates were also a great addition after those cold water dives!

This was our favourite thing in New Zealand!
it was excellent from start to finish. A family owned operation with Diane meeting you, Her husband Chris was skipper and Travis their son as first mate. The food was excellent. The boat cute and cozy but still with plenty of room for everyone. We fished, kayaked, enjoyed the scenery and even did a spot of cold night swimming! Then after the sun went down we all enjoyed some wine that we had brought with us and lots of card games. if you are unsure whether to do a day or overnight cruise then I definitely recommend an overnight cruise as the Sound was most beautiful in the evening and early morning. This was a lovely, relaxing and brilliant experience, can not say enough how much we enjoyed it
