This was the first place we visited on holiday and loved it so much went back on our last day.
You really need to get a guide and work out what you want to see. Be prepared to spend 1-2 days there as something for all the family and our six year old loved the experience.
You must visit.

While on holiday in New Zealand staying with my sister, her and my six year old daughter came back from the supermarket saying "Your going rafting in an hour"!
I felt sick as this was not something I wanted to do, my husband on the other hand seemed pleased. When we arrived we were made to feel welcome and relaxed and the sense of houmour from the staff certainley helped. Well within a few minutes of sitting on the raft I felt much better and knew we were in safe hands, the instructions we received from Tim where excellent and the end result was I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND ABSOLUTLEY LOVED IT, AND WOULD RECOMEND YOU ALL TRY IT. The only other thing is that I will always be it debt to my sister because is she hadn't arranged it for us we would certainley never have done it off of our own backs and certainely missed out on a wonderful experience. We are both looking forward to rafting again.

Excellent place to visit and spent at least four hours there, even our six year old daughter enjoyed the vist.
The lady in the shop Sally recomended other places in the area to visit and enjoyed our short stay in the area.

Well worth a visit, suitable for all ages as they have childrens section.
Excellent views from there.
Good cafe and nice gift shop.
