One of our definite highlights visiting New Zealand.
Price is tough but you won't regret a single cent. Heaps of jumps, slides and abseiling into perfect canyon water. Safe and sound with our amazing guide Jeremy.

Most fun ever while challenging yourself.
Small groups. Information and instructions are clear and interesting. Worth the price! Flexible and nice company to deal with.

Not overly attentive staff, but kept everyone on time and on schedule.
They made a difficult call to cancel the trip due to dangerous waters.

A really really fun day!
We did the 1/2 day Niger Stream and after the walk up part way, we had so much fun sliding down the rocks, abseiling, jumping in to the water.
We'd love to do it all again.

Small group and good guide.
Very exciting to abseil down a 90m waterfall. It was space for both some fun playing around and difficult parts that needed our 100% attention.

This is a gem of a day out.
The site is superb, the trip is exciting and well-run, and I cannot think of anything that could make it better day out if you want to get a taste of this activity. Safety is top of the list of the companies mantra, and our guide (Anna, who makes a wetsuit look great) really made it a day to remember!

Small, family run business.
Small groups, multiple trip types, show you how to abseil and you can do it yourself. Lots of jumps and slides and ziplines. Fantastic lunch too - beautiful area to go to.

My husband and I took my father on the Big Nige in March 2014.
Anna and Millie were our guides and they were brilliant, fun to be around and safety conscious. You get given all your gear and then hike up a very steep hill to get into the canyon - this is the toughest part of the day. The hike is pretty tiring, especially when in the sun and carrying all your gear. After this it is all fun! You put on all the gear and have a lesson in abseiling before being taken into the canyon. The trip involves numerous abseils (many in waterfalls), jumps, slides and ziplining - I have never seen my dad smile for so many photos before!
There is a brief break in the middle for a hot drink and biscuits and then lunch is provided at the end - bread and fillings and you can have as many as you like - great after using all that energy in the canyon.
One of the other things I was delighted about with this company is the quality of equipment. The wetsuits fitted well and had a little wear but not excessive so heat was retained. They also provided gloves which was brilliant as friends going with other companies commented how their hands went numb in the cold water.
My only criticism is that there were another couple booked on our trip who were not ready when the guides went to collect them - they waited almost 40 minutes for them to get ready during which we were just hanging around at the office. As we were given a clear start time, they should have continued without them. The delay meant we finished slightly later than we otherwise would have and had to cancel our evening plans. In their defence, they did give us a gesture of goodwill for waiting but I hope that next time they will continue the trip without latecomers.
Overall a fantastic day with a brilliant company. Highly recommended

AHHHH!
Fricken AWESOOOOOOME! Nothing like canyoning overseas...the canyons are soo deep it's like caving with the light on and more fun because of all those waterfalls. When we first pulled up I was like "what, here?" Your'd never find the canyon without guides and it truely feels like I've been let in on a secret. Fantastic value for money. DO IT.

Canyoning Day trip, great experience, awesome canyon, fun guide, very adventurous.
Small groups, the trip pictures didn't turn out very well and you have to buy them for $15pp - only drawback.
