We had a few enjoyable trips with Puhoi Canoes down the river before but our latest one was ruined due to their online booking system.
The web site warns online booking are subject to approval so I called first to confirm availability, then immediately made the booking and received confirmation email soon afterwards. Regardless, boats were given to someone else. To make sure you get the boats ignore web site and book via phone only.

I did it as part of a work do.
It was so much fun, we had a good laugh plus enjoyed the scenery on the journey. had some sore arms that night :)
