Very nice place surrounded by hills.
There was a kitchen, showers with hot water and a lot of space for tents and caravans.

Please note that the Beez Neez Ceased trading in August 2018.
So unfortunately camping facilities are no longer available.

Stopped here for one night after tackling the Tongariro crossing.
Only $15 pppn for an unpowered pitch. Good value food and bar on site too. Decent facilities, although limited showers, so that could be a problem when busy. It was super quiet when we stayed, so wasn't a problem. Cheapest fuel around just next door too ;)

This place is in decline.
Go to the Bullring cafe 1km south. Free to pitch a tent or park up. Just grab a meal or drink from their restaurant/ bar.
