This is an awesome camping with modern and clean facilities.
Glenorchy is an expensive town to stay so the value for money is great for this place. Mrs Wooly cafe is pricey but well worth the stop.
This is a great place for older crowd travelling on higher budget and I highly recommend the diner at Eco Lodge.

A quiet and clean camping ground in a beautiful city.
Douches are 2 dollar for 7 minutes and are good and clean. A nice store with beautiful garden next to the campsite is a good place to drink a coffee. They also have toys for kids to play with.

Loved our night in Glenorchy.
Would have liked to stay longer to do more walking and explore all the goodies on offer in the store! We had an unpowered site and didn't use the facilities, but it all seemed clean and well looked after. Fairly empty in November, but I would guess it would seem very crowded if all sites are taken.

Visited October 2024 for one night in our camper van.
Expensive site. Clean facilities but extra cost of $2 to shower in a porta cabin. No dump station. Would not recommend or stay here again.

The sections are so small everyone is so close.
Very disappointing
There is road noise constantly. We kept us all awake.
The sites are that close that I could hear the people snoring right next to us.
There were spoons to make a coffee. There were only 2 showers and 2 ladies toilets, so there was a long wait. Considering the stay for a tent is $55 the showers had a fee.
Overall if you are self Suffient camper it will be ideal. But not if your camping

There are two freedom camps between queenstown and glenorchy, but I don't find them.
So, I have to stay here. Expensive. I have to pay $45 to just park my campervan 🤔🤔🤔

Great site to camp, very well presented.
They even have powered sites. One caution - they are closed some of the year in winter. So check with them that they are open.

Wonderful little campsite, not much shade but views fantastic of the surrounding mountains.
Clean and great facilities I went on dart river tours, so the campsite was perfectly located.

The place change when relating to previous reviews.
One one site there are luxery cabins (look like very recently buit and where capers are not “allowed” and on the other campsites. There are 5 powered campsites. All campers have shares facilities where showers are paid (2 $ for 7 minutes). There are no 360 degrees views as pictures could suggest.

We really wanted to like this campground.
It is a DIY non attended expensive site. The eco lodge and the general are quite nice but the campground is expensive without an attention to detail to the campers needs. The wifi voucher is inconvenient and spotty. The bathrooms were messy as a school group of 30 plus kids were sharing the bathrooms and showers. Just not that great.

Mrs Woolies camp was not the price it says in Rankers app.
It was $65 power
Or $45 no power. We decided not to stay . That price wad way too expensive.
Came back to DOC camp twelve mile delta at $15 per person.

- Expensive for basic services: $ 40.- for 2 for non-powered site, showers extra, credit card payment with surcharge, etc.
+ campground is in a charming valley
- in a spacious region you are packet in a little campsite like sardines in a can
- Only 1GB data for 2 for slow internet access
