So worth it.
Brilliant way of experiencing the magnificent Waitomo Caves through 7 hours of abseiling, wading through underground rivers and climbing rocks in the caves.

So good!
Recommend this. They oversell the whole bones/fossils but the abseil and cave exploring is awesome.

You should know BEFORE that 'blackwater rafting' is NOT like whitewater rafting.
Walking 3-4 hours through the caves, very cold water, hot drink and sweets, only 5 minutes in water paddling. Many glow worms.

Was a second choice, because Green Glow Eco Adventures was not available.
Waitomo Adventures does not tailor for each group but offers a good variety of caving adventures. Professional guides (one was in training). Good that we were a small group (4, when the limit is 10).

Did the Haggas Honking Holes in a very small group.
We did a lot of things in a few hours. We did rock climbing, but only because we were only four. Good guide, fun and experience. We were not allowed to take photos, only those from the guide could be purchased, and they were not so great. Even with a small group it was a bit fast and touristic.

The tubing adventure is really great.
Wetsuits are warm enough. Two hours is just perfect, guides are friendly. It is adventurous, but also suitable for people who want just something more that a walk. It is worth it!!
