Just beautiful.
Too expensive compared with Wai-o-tapu.
Beautiful park, good walking path, clean park.

Absolutely a must see in New Zealand - you learn a lot about thermal activity and the hiking track is nice.
It is rather expensive with $37 per person but for us it was worth it.

Beautiful walk through a volcanic valley, offering great sights including coloured lakes and thermal vents.
Far fewer crowds than other thermal attractions.

Great experience, super walk, well maintained, the only negative was the weather.

It is quite nice, especially the first part, but the Thermal Wonderland we liked much more and it is even a bit cheaper.
Both are touristic in good weather.

It is an amazing experience to see the life of volcanoes.
Beautiful view of hot pools and many colours like magma and anything......

Such an active/living piece of earth.
Totally over estimated time frames for how long it takes to walk along the track, but perhaps I was supposed to take more photos.

I’m sure it is a lovely place but at $90 to take a family of four for a two hour walk it is ridiculously overpriced.
Especially when half was closed due to storm damage.

It was nice to walk through the Valley but it was way too expensive in spite of the fact you could see everything for free somewhere else.

They had lots of different areas and viewing spots making the walking trip interesting all the way through.

A good idea to go if you want to learn more about the volcanic history.
Great walks from one to two hours, a bus brings you back to the point you have started from.

It is beautiful and if you are walking the whole track you can easily fill up a whole day.
We like it, but if it is worth the price for 'just taking a walk' is up to you to decide.
