Try one of our tours, or our boat cruise, easy walks and advanced hiking ranging from 45 minutes to over 4 hours. If you walk too far, our shuttle bus is close by to return you to the entrance. Absolutely a must see in New Zealand - you learn a lot about thermal activity and the hiking track is nice.
It is rather expensive with $37 per person but for us it was worth it.

I’m sure it is a lovely place but at $90 to take a family of four for a two hour walk it is ridiculously overpriced.
Especially when half was closed due to storm damage.

They had lots of different areas and viewing spots making the walking trip interesting all the way through.

Really interesting and nice geothermal walk near Rotorua.
Only 6 points because we felt it to be too expensive with $35 even though it was very interesting.

It is beautiful and if you are walking the whole track you can easily fill up a whole day.
We like it, but if it is worth the price for 'just taking a walk' is up to you to decide.
