  • We did the "Doubtful Day Out" kayak trip in March 2017.

    We were a total of 8 people, the trip started from Manapouri at 7 am. Amazing sunrise on Lake Manapouri during the boat transfer !

    3h of kayak, with geological and environmental descriptions from our guide.

    During the first hour, we were alone in the Sound, which made the place and the silence really awesome !

    The return transfer (bus+boat) was made a bit in a rush...

    The price is expensive for a "simple" kayaking trip, but it is the price to pay to enjoy the beauty and the silence of Doubtful Sound !

    Saw dolphins, seals, baby eagles and a dead shark. Away for 10 hours.
