Tairāwhiti Local
Hi there, it's your friendly team from Gisborne i-SITE.
If you've got a question or two about anything to do with the Tairāwhiti Gisborne region, please get in contact, we'll be happy to answer. And if you'd like to book anything then that works too.
Created over thousands of years ago is a crazy 60 meter natural water-slide!
Here you can slide down the giant water slide on a boogie board, tyre tube or air mattress - definitely popular for those who like a bit of risk and adventure! Well worth the trip and a gem in the region for locals and visitors. The rock is fairly smooth, but you may still get a few bumps and bruises - a mark of a fun time!

A beautiful place in the nature.
This is a natural swimming pool with a wall where you can slide down into the water. Very funny and bring your bodyboards.

That was great fun!
You can spend there a whole day if you like - and it is free! You only need a good bodyboard. There is a waterfall where you can walk under the waterfall - even behind! That is magical.
