Had the pleasure of meeting Sparky, the nationally known one legged Kiwi.

Also got to learn about the various other bird species the centre takes care of. Well worth the visit.

    Not paid but donations received.

This fellow is doing remarkable work helping wild and injured birds, which he releases back into their environment. Got to hold an injured Kiwi and Morepork.

One of the best places to see and touch a kiwi.

The guide was really nice and even let us see and touch a little baby owl.
