Wow !
15 out of 10! As soon as Kim saw that I was on crutches, She went completely out of her way to make sure I had a pleasant, relaxed stay there. It was the best service I have ever received in any establishment!
You must go there, even if it’s just to experience Kim’s hospitality. I felt like a personal guest in her own private home, not an overnight occupant.
Oh, and the facilities are all lovely and clean, with immaculate grounds and surroundings. A small intimate setup; You could call it a Boutique Motel/Motorhome Park!

This is the place to stay!
I totally recommend the Norfolk Motel, The Accommodation is home away from home, Clean, well serviced, Nice surroundings, any queries you have, ask the friendly staff, always helpful. A Beautiful drive up to the top of the North Island to the Cape.
Delicious Bakery & A must to see the Honey Shop & the Antiques, A Growing Little Town with much to offer.

Needing only a clean stopover, this place was perfect.
Warm welcome, quiet surround backed up to a farm, very clean, and wifi was a pleasant treat while catching up my laundry.

I gave a low rating as I found the owner to be tricky to deal with, overall with my booking, and with a problem I had with getting the AA guy to come fix my van.
I wanted to leave my keys for him to pick up at the office as we were doing a Cape Reinga trip that the office had organised for us through Harrisons. I was told the office was going to be closed all day so I couldn't leave the keys there. Thankfully the AA guy managed to come earlier to help out. The camp was very clean however there were too many strict rules. For example... if you were to use the bbq (which was heavily covered) the sign above said that you had to clean the bbq "extensively" after use otherwise you would incur a $50.00 cleaning charge. Showers and toilets were for both male and female use and the showers were only open between 7-9am and 7-9pm. Only 2 of both the toilets and the showers were opened at any one time to accommodate around 20 people. I would never reuse this camping ground.

Nice lady in reception. Only about 6 'van sites. 2 unisex loos and 2 unisex showers. Clean enough but locked overnight.
Wifi ok in laundry.
Only for stop overs on the way to somewhere.

Sheltered sites.
Clean modern toilets and shower facilities. There is no proper kitchen - just a microwave and jug in the laundry. There may have been a toaster too. The staff were awesome. There was also wifi in the laundry which was a nice warm place to sit. And we got it outside too.
