Nicole from Eco Walks was so nice and informative on the walk which is a great way to see Christchurch and surrounds in a relatively short time.
The tour takes about 3 hours however Nicole doesn't rush you and she is very friendly and accommodating . She also picks you up from your hotel and drops you back. I great day out, thank you Nicole! Cheers Peter and Sue Davies

I spent a wonderful afternoon in Christchurch with Nicole @ eco walks.
During the walk from the gondola mountain station to Lyttelton I have learned many interesting things about the history and geography. At a tea & cookie break, I got an impression of the first Maori settlers and what was their first glimpse of New Zealand. I had a memorable and informative trip with gondola ride, hike and a lovely Guide with an amazing knowledge. Nicole thank you - Cheers!

I had a wonderful afternoon with the eco walk at christchurch. The weather was great and the tour-guide Nicole even better ;) She did the walk, even though I was the only participant. And I'm glad she incisted on doing the tour: I had great fun with the walk, the nature and all the interesting information. After the walk I stayed in a Pub in Littelton and Nicole drove me later back to my hotel in Christchurch. That was very friedly. On the way back she took time to suggest me places I should visit on my one week travel in the north: great.
Und auf Deutsch: Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Nachmittag. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und super Wetter machte ich die Führung bei Nicole. Obwohl ich der einzige Gast war und nicht wusste, ob sich das ganze für Nicole lohnt, bestand sie auf der Führung und ich bin froh, dass sie die Führung für mich allein durchgeführt hat. Die Landschaft war wunderschön, die Erklärungen und Geschichten interessant und unterhaltsam. Dazu dann noch Informationen über Botanik und NZ allgemeing: Die Mischung war für mich perfekt. Den Abschluss bildete dann ein Pubbesuch meinerseits in Littelton, wo Nicole mich später abholte und direkt bei meinem Hotel vorbeibrachte. Perfekt.
Dazu noch viele sehr hilfreiche Tipps über "Urlaub in NZ, wie funktioniert was" und super Vorschläge für meine einwöchige Mietwagenreise auf der Nordinsel. Da ich gerade in NZ angekommen war, war das ein super einstieg und sehr zu empfehlen.

The walk was easy enough for any level of fitness and very informative, I was very surprised as to how much history there is to be learned in such short time! Having been in the area numerous times and never knowing why these mountains after such plain territory. Plus the included Gondola ride was amazing! Thanks again Nicole, will certainly recommend to everyone that is looking to explore the Christchurch area!

I enjoyed an afternoon walk from the Christchurch Gondola down to Lyttelton very much.
Nicole was really friendly, showing the beauty of Christchurch and telling interesting facts about how mother nature created New Zealand and history of Christchurch and other things. If I did not understand some words she happily explained in other words. I would recommend this highly, it was my cup of tea and those Anzac biscuits tasted really good with the tea. I came I saw I got wiser.

Truly wonderful & personalised walking experience tour provided by Nicole @ ECOWALKS.
Her knowledge of history/Geography in relation to Christchurch/ Lyttleton, the South Island & its culture was concise, respectful and informative. A thoroughly enjoyable day, magnificent weather, great company (& delightful arvo tea) and would highly recommend to all who wish to expand their knowledge.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Eco Walks.
The gondola provides an excellent view of the city of Christchurch. The walk down to the harbor and community of Lyttelton was a pleasant hike on good trails with excellent scenery that includes the entirety of the volcanic caldera that forms the harbor. Nicole's knowledge of both the natural and human history of the area was very impressive. I asked what I felt were some fairly specific questions about historical events and Nicole was always ready with an answer that stood up to further research. All in all a very pleasant afternoon spent in friendly and knowledgeable company.

Die gefuehrte Tour mit Nicole war sehr angenehm und informativ.
Mir hat besonders der landschaftliche Ausblick, den ich waehrend der gesamten Wanderung geniessen konnte, sehr gefallen. Ein guter Mix zwischen Berge, Meer, der Hafen von Lyttelton und der Stadt Christchurch. Absolut empfehlenswert.
