Information

Features: Independent heating and fresh air circulator, independent hot and cold pressurized water, solar panels, private toilet and shower, thick soft compressed foam mattresses, comfortable living area with microwave, 2 ring gas cooker, 12 volt 60 litre fridge with ice box, and radio/CD player and air-conditioning in the driving cab.

Sleeps: Two adults.

Engine: Ford Transit 2.4 litre diesel, manual or tip-tronic transmission. Please notify us if you have a preference as this is subject to availability.

Driving: Power steering and air bags.

Seating: Seat belts for two in the driving cab, allowing walk through access to your living area.

Dimensions: L: 5.9m ~ Ht: 2.5m ~ W: 1.75m ~ Interior Ht: 1.84m

Power: 240 volt mains and 12 volt house battery and solar panels. The 12 volt house battery charges via the solar panels, when driving and also when plugged into a 240 volt power supply.

Water: 135 litre (35 gallon) fresh water tank and balanced waste water tank.

Bed: One double bed being 1.75m x 1.8m. Or two single beds being 1.8m x 0.62m and 1.96m x 0.62m

Insurance Options

Reduced Excess Insurance

This will reduce the excess, which is an imprint only, for any damage to the vehicle and/or third party damage to a maximum of NZ $300.00 per accident. Zero excess liability windscreen insurance cover is also included.

Any fines incurred or accidents reported from the hirers’ dates of hire, received after the end date are still applicable.

$35.00 per day in addition to the daily rental rate (maximum charge per hire $1400.00)

All insurance cover will be made void if any of the following "Exclusions" are breached:

• Any damage caused by wilful misconduct (e.g. sitting or standing on the bonnet or roof of the vehicle)

• Any damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Damage caused to the vehicle by misuse of snow chains.

• The vehicle is in an unsafe or unroad worthy condition that arose during the course of hire and which caused or contributed to the damage or loss.

• The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest.

• The vehicle is driven by any person not named on the rental agreement

• The vehicle is neglectfully damaged by the hirer, including driver fault (e.g. burnt out clutch, tyre damage etc.)

• The vehicle is operated outside the term of the hire or any agreed extension of that term.

Standard Insurance

All Affordable Motorhome Rental vehicles come with comprehensive insurance cover. The hirer will be fully liable for demurrage - the daily rental rate for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs (max 7 days) and for replacing or repairing damaged windscreens and tyres. Overhead and under-body damage on the rented vehicle is covered.

Any fines incurred or accidents reported from the hirers’ dates of hire, received after the end date are still applicable.
