Thank you Anna for generously donating such an awesome prize to Taumarunui Hope Trust.

I loved my day adventure down the river. Thanks for your relaxed, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable assistance! It was brilliant being able to have a leisurely canoe down the beautiful Whanganui and fantastic jet boat ride home :-)

Rachel and staff were super nice.

We were able to get in the kayak and on the river a little early so we had time to explore before our pick-up. The river is wild and beautiful, but easily managed in the kayak. The jet-boat back was exhilarating and the tea at the house really hit the spot. Definitely recommend!!

My son and I had a fabulous time with "Wild Journeys" in December.

Anna and her family were superb hosts and looked after us very well. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable ( With a great shower). We spent a day on the Wanganui River and paddled 27 Kms before being picked up at the nominated spot and time and whizzed home in the family jet boat. I highly recommend this as a beginners option to exploring the river for people who are not that fussed on camping or carrying in all their gear. The next day we were jet boated down the river again and walked in to look at "The Bridge to Nowhere". Again, a great way to do it, especially if you don't have the time to spend 3 days on the river paddling to it. ( and well worth seeing) The highlight of the trip for my son though was the goat hunt at the end, and he has the photo to prove the hunt was successful! Absolutely stunning spot on the river with lots to do and very obliging hosts.

Had an amazing time on a beautiful river.

Anna and her team went over and beyond what we expected in terms of hospitality and experience. Would definitely go on another kayak trip with Wild Journeys.

Had a fantastic time with Wild Journeys over the New Year period.

We stayed at the lodge at Reteruke Station which was comfortable with mostly bunk style bedding, good showers and kitchen and lounge facilities. They had a range of activities available and our group decided on a 4 hour Kayak trip down the Wanganui River the first day. We were then collected by Richard and the team and brought home via jet boat. The next day we went Kayaking on the Reteruke stream which was a 2 hour paddle of interesting rapids for novices such as ourselves and fabulous scenery. We really enjoyed our three night stay at Reteruke Station and Anna, Richard and Rachel were fabulous hosts. Highly recommended for all.

We had a wonderful time with Wild Journeys at Retaruke Station.

Ten of us booked out the lodge for a few days and the facilities were very good (we did all our own cooking there). We had several kayaking trips on the rivers, a two-hour walk over the property and finished off with a go on the flying fox. It was a great way to see the local rivers. We had mixed weather, so it was great to be able to finish a wet day with a hot shower and get out of the rain for the evening. Anna Steele and her parents were great hosts - helpful, friendly, hospitable and informative.
