TERRIBLE SHOCK FROM MAUGERS RENTALS

As our previous experience with car rentals were relatively fuss free, we did not forsee any problem. On the day of our arrival, we were told we had to sign a NZ 500 deposit. On the day of return of the rental minibus, we were told that they will only do the inspection post wash and we have a flight to catch. The vehicle was not that dirty and we did not forsee any major issue. When we returned to home, we were informed via email that there were two dents on the vehicle. We requested for picture which they did send but was not able to see the dents from the picture. Subsequently, few emails were sent to the company telling them we are disputing their claim ( as we had no way to defend ourselves then and there as we had already left the country).

The vehicle condition was good. But felt cheated after being slapped with extra cost (NZ 425) which amount to 25% of the rental cost.
