Went here last week.
Older grey haired lady - Denni I think? - helped us plan stay in Taupo and trip around north island. amazing knowldge and so friendly everyone in there was lovely. great place. Go here for good advice.

Lady who had served us clearly had not done the walk we enquired about.
Which must be the most popular walk asked about. Was more interested in getting rid of us so she could go home.

We went two times to the i-Site in Taupo.
Both times they were in a hurry and impersonal. On the other side, they did give us the information we needed.

Went there a couple of times.
Very friendly and lots of information. Good presentation and great location. Easy to find.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Lots of information available about the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and other activities in the region. Right next door to the library (free, unlimited WIFI) and the Superloo (toilets and showers).

Lovely woman informed us, she was really helpful and kind of planned our next week.

Really motivated and well informed staff who gave us a lot of information and took a lot of time to help us with a heap of questions.

Like a normal i-site, informative, but often so many people that you have to wait a long time and personnel were quite stressed.
