Just as much fun as last time.
A good amount of time out on the water for the money you pay. Always plenty of seats available. Kids took advantage of the Instant Replay option and did another ride for just $19. Lots of fun thanks

We were just stopping in at Queenstown for the day, and it was so easy to show up and book a spot on the next boat.
There was plenty of parking at the jetty, but they also have a shuttle from town. The ride itself was a great combination of scenic and exciting!

The ride itself is fine for kids.
I really expected something more "extreme" based on the promotions. But the experience ended on a very sour note based on photo policies and pricing. Keep in mind, customers pay at least $139 per seat, but the company is very strict about taking photos. At first I thought this was for safety reasons, but later learned this was for pure greed. During the experience the boat stops a few times for the driver to answer questions. Our driver, Phil, was amusing and informative for most of the trip. Then, during one of the stops one customer took out his phone to take a photo of his family . Phil was visibly angered and threatened to take away his phone. I thought it was an over-reaction. When the ride concluded, I was eager to see the photos and videos taken by the cameras mounted on the boat. However, I was aghast at the prices ranging up to $100. What an outrageous gouging of the customers. Shameful and exploitative. My advice: skip this scam and spend your money on an activity that is truly "extreme" and don't support this inexcusable photograph and pricing policy.

Spectacular.
Did not expect much but it was pretty cool. 360 degree spin was very fun. Backrow, opposite side of the boat driver is the recommended seat to take! Scenery is beautiful, plus enjoying speed.

The jet reaches places in the canyon/river that are otherwise inaccessible.
Beautiful scenery, cheerful/funny commentary from the driver. An expensive activity, but worth it for both the thrill and the landscape.

This was an expensive experience for a family with two teenagers because the eldest son (15) had to pay adult prices but it was still worth the money to say you have done it.
The staff were very good and the jetboat driver was extremely skilled as we went flying and spinning through the canyon. If you are going to go jetboating then go with Shotover as they are the only company that operates in the canyon. My only complaint was that queries that I sent to their website went unanswered.

The ride is fun and you will go as close as you can get to the rocks.
Maybe a little expensive as the price of a ride is the price of a full day in an amusement park. (though the place is much more beautiful.)
