    Fantastic experience and place.

Very clean. Interesting genuine guide. Large cooked meal in the ground. Amazing work with the local children.

Met up with friends for a night.

Loved the experience of staying at a place off the beaten track. The Hangi meal was fantastic and all just for $50 (Dec 15). Talking to the new owners, this place is very special. Their generosity to their local community should be commended.

Looked forward all year for a lovely holiday here but was so disappointed.

The weather was awful but that we cannot control but not happy with place. Look on internet it is beautiful but not when you arrive. The fishing lake for trout was like a swamp full of weed and looked like a lake been dug out in the middle of a paddock. Accomodation we had a chalet, not clean and I am ptetty sure the sheets were not either, I think they just re-used them. Looks are not always best, we left our hokliday a week earlty so do not be tempted. A real beautiful place is Lake Waikaremoana which is where we usually go but felt like a change but back to Lake Waikaremoana this year
