Wasn't that impressed with Dunedin but very impressed with the market.

We were travelling for a couple of months in winter in a campervan and stopped by yo stock up on produce. Tons of fantastic veg, meat, fruit etc. We spent way more than we intended. Even though we had just had breakfast, couldn't resist the "Whoateallthepies" pie stall. The steak and blue oyster were the best pies ever! Don't miss this market.

One of the best markets in the country!

Good value produce, as well as a heap of other beautiful food and drink - cheese, bread, chocolate, wine, beer, pies, meat and smallgoods.... And that's just the stuff you take home. You need to eat breakfast here too - anything you fancy from bacon butties to crepes and everything in between. And of course, coffee.

    Loved this place.

I organised our itinerary so that we would be here on a Saturday so that we could stock up for the rest of our trip. Not disappointed at all. Fresh fruit, veges, cheese, fish, meat and yummy pastries. Don't eat breakfast before you come - there is so much to have. All good.

    Love it!

Great selection of produce, cheeses, breads, flowers, cakes etc etc. I go there especially to have the ciabatta bread!
