  • When there is good weather and good conditions, the mountain is overcrowded and queuing for lifts can be expected.

Average lunch facilities. Beautiful views and great for beginners/intermediate/blue runs.

  • Being from Colorado I am biased but I was underwhelmed by the resort and terrain.

    Felt like one giant bowl.

  • I'm an inexperienced snowboarder, but the facilities at Coronet Peak are great and the easy hill is really good to learn on - enough people to learn how to avoid them, but not so many people that you

can't move. Almost every time I went up it was pretty icy, and it seems crowded on the other more difficult hills, so I would recommend checking out the other ski areas before sticking to this one.

  • Awesome snow made Coronet Peak the one mountain to visit this winter season in NZ.

A little busy on times but just shows the mountains popularity.
