  • Before we collected our campervan, we took the Intercity bus to Paihia.

A very lovely area - the Bay of Islands! This is a full day trip with a boat including dolphins, a romantic bay (including stop), the Hole in the Rock and the captain with a lot of interesting information. If you go to the North, do this!!

  • Very nice all day trip.

Friendly staff, amazing stop for a lunch (you can buy or bring) in the Bay. Unfortunately, we did not see dolphins, but we saw two funny seals.

  • Although we set out to see the Hole in the Rock we came across a pod of dolphins.

    A beautiful and unforgettable moment.

  • We did a four hour trip through the different islands, watched some dolphins and ate at a nice beach and it was very cheap.

  • We booked the tour online for $70 (normal price $130), unfortunately, the weather was bad but we saw dolphins and the food was excellent.

But it is not $130 worth in my opinion.

  • We took the Cream Trip tour and had a good day.

It included a bit too much historic information to our liking, but it was nice to cruise through the whole bay. Although it was a random Tuesday in October the boat was packed, so don't think you're going on anything exclusive. You don't have the dolphins guarantee Fullers gives on the other tours, but we saw a wonderful pod of them in the last 10 minutes of our tour. We prepaid for swimming with dolphins but there was no opportunity to do that that day. It was only at the end of the next day that we realised we didn't got our pre payment refunded. The don't actively point that out to you on board, which would be the right thing to do. As we were in Russell still we went to the office and got the refund two days later.

  • Service generally OK, people trying to be helpful/informative.

A bit too commercial and therefore not a very personal experience.

  • It was a great combination of a guided tour and activity with hiking at some point, mussel diving and the dolphin swim.

    Maybe a bit too expensive!

  • Took the "Cream Cruise" absolutely fantastic.

The daughters got to swim with the dolphins, and fool around in the cargo net while the boat was moving. Went through the hole in the rock. This is an experience not to be missed. This huge vessel through that little hole, ( I never thought the skipper would attempt it, as it looked a little rough. I didn't think the boat would even fit. ) even stopped in the middle, with only meters clearance on all sides including the top, with waves splashing all around. It was fan'bloody'tastic.

Stopped off on an island to climb the lookout. Bring your own lunch.

A top experience, highly recommend it.
