This is a walk-in, Great Walk campsite on the Routeburn Track, Fiordland National Park. Bookings required in the Great Walks season.

Event at Routeburn Track

The annual Routeburn Classic Adventure Run will be held on the Routeburn Track, Saturday 12 April 2025.

The event operates under a DOC concession for use of the Routeburn Track. It will start at the Divide carpark side at 8 am and finish at the Routeburn road end shelter by approximately 5 pm.

The field is limited to 400 competitors and the track will remain open to visitors during this time.

Campsite has 9 sites, is located in the bush a short distance from the hut and lake, with great views of the Routeburn Valley surrounded by mountains.
There is a big covered cooking and seating area with sinks, toilet etc and the sites have been levelled off and have artificial grass! You can see the lake trough the trees.
