Follow Forest Walk to Mansfield Rd, then continue down an avenue of birch and poplar trees. Wander through stands of poplar, pines and larch, and cross a footbridge before emerging at the nurseryman’s cottage site. Cross another footbridge and Mansfield Rd, then through 1927 macrocarpa plantings and past a pond fringed by old oaks. Emerge out onto Mansfield Rd and follow it to Dawsons Drive on the left.

Trial plantings lining this drive include cedar, redwood (coastal and giant) and cypress. After 5 - 10 minutes turn right into Old Coach Rd and then left at the walking track again. 1904 plantings of larch and Ponderosa pine are also here. Turn left and follow the track along Jollies Pass Road back to the carpark.
