Manaia Native Habitat

5h of native bush with walks from 5mins to one hour. Views of the valley and lake. Closed from 25 April- 1 October.

Stay in the Little River Campground and explore the native bush of new Zealand including the famous silver fern (as worn by all sports teams). Check out the giant swing from a 200yr old matai tree and if the slippery slides are open this is always a good laugh for adventurous people. Peaceful riverside settings with ancient trees including Totora, Matai, Kahikatea and kowhai.
