Eel feeding, Kiwi feeding.
Old fashioned but cute centre. Saw the feeding of eel and Kiwi which is really nice. Nice staff. $22 per person - worth it.

Wonderful chance to see the Kiwis in a well designed informative centre.
Feeding the giant eels was also great. It was clear the centre is part of the effort to protect the Kiwis.

A little museum, very cheap, where you can see real kiwi birds!
Very interesting price compared to the other places where you can see kiwi birds - very nice spot!

Not up to date, smells 'old', don't like eels that much, but kiwi came quite close.

Bit disappointing.
Only 2 kiwi in the centre and a lot of other animals, mostly aquatic. We did get to feed and touch giant eels, just did not see much of the kiwi. Expected more for the $18.50. If we had not stayed for the eel feeding we would have felt ripped off, instead we just thought it was expensive.

Expensive for what it is, especially advertising to see Kiwi birds and they have two in a VERY small enclosure.
Good to see birds but not sure it's great for them.

The kiwis are great, the rest is not that new or in good shape, even if feeding the eels is nice.

A bit old and out of date, needs renovating.
At least you can see some kiwis and the 150-years-old eels are impressive.
