Fantastic day out on Akaroa Harbour.
Plenty of dolphins, even leaping! and other wildlife seen around the magnificent cliffs. Felt very safe with our very knowledgable and entertaining guide. Cant wait to go again. A memorable experience!

Wonderful experience and a lot of fun.
After a full safety briefing we set out on a sunny warm Akaroa day escorted up the harbour by those cute little dolphins. Thanks Brent for a well run and guided personal tour.

It was my first time kayaking and I had nothing short of an exceptional time.
Brent demonstrated a priority for our safety without treating us like children. It ended up being only me and a friend on the water with him that day, so we had a good bit of freedom out there. Plenty of time in the water with a bit of a break in the middle gave us a chance to really take everything in.
You'll enjoy yourself, especially if you're lucky enough to have the great weather we had.

My wife and I had a private kayaking tour with Brent.
He was very friendly and interesting, and the tour was amazing! We kayaked for several hours and got close to dolphins and penguins, as well as cormorants and other seabirds. The trip was fantastic and we had a great time. The price was very reasonable as well.

A great experience. In my group there was a range of skills and Brent managed to make us all comfrtable and confident. Lunch was well earned and tasty. Finished the day with a buzz.

Had a fantastic time.
It was my first time sea kayaking but the guide took good care of us. It was a great way to see the beautiful bay and we even had some inquisitive dolphins come and check us out. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful day out in the bay.
History, geography and ecology all rolled into one experience. After crossing to the other side , the weather changed, and strong winds added to quite an experience! Our guide's approach of "safety first" meant a change of the original itinerary, but an altogether memorable day . A highlight was the close contact with Hector's dolphins: probably a better view than actually swimming with them! Highly reccommended

Had a great time made possible by an excellent guide who made the experience comfortable and enjoyable.
He was very encouraging also when we got a little tired from paddling! This was the best way to see Akaroa from the habour viewpoint. The guide was also helpful with telling us the local history and other things to do in the area.

Had a brilliant time!
Being my first time I was a little nervous but I neednt have been, the guide was very experienced giving clear instructions and I felt relaxed,safe and in good hands. He was very knowledgeable about the water and local area and also good fun to be around. All the kit was new and in tip top condition. Such a fabulous experience to be out on the water in such a beautifull place, to see dolphins in the bay and swimming past the kayak and other widlife. We stopped on a lovely beach for a rather yummy lunch and to kick back and relax in the sun. It was a day I will not forget and made my time in NZ even more special. I am already saving up to head back and when I do I will be out on the water again with Akaroa kayak safari.

fantastic setting, great kit, all modern boats n gear, friendly, professional, clear & safe... heaps of wildlife including Dolphins & Penguins. Had a beach swim & tasty food...only downside ..not enough time to see it all...so will be back..
